General Instructions for Online Test of Indian Scholarship Examination (ISE-2024)
1. Date and Timing of Online ISE – 2024 conducted by National Education Development Organization: The candidate may take the Online Test on any day from 30th November, 2024 to 10th December, 2024. Time for Online Test (for all the Classes): 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Duration of Online Test: One Hour only.
2. To take the test, the candidate is required to visit the website www.nedo.org.in. After visiting the website, click on the link => Online Test provided on the home page of the website. After clicking the link of Online Test, the candidate must enter the Roll Number as the Login ID and Phone Number (the phone number which was entered by the candidate while filling up the Application Form) as the login password.
3. The registered candidates may take the online test on the mobile phones or laptops or desktops from anywhere i.e. from their homes also.
4. Only one attempt is allowed for each candidate.
5. Subject: Objective General English and Objective General Science.
6. Maximum Marks: 50 + 50 = 100
There are 50 objective (multiple choice) type questions for each subject in all, each carrying one(1) mark
7. There will be penalty for wrong answers (Negative Marking) i.e. marks will be deducted for the wrong answers. So, if you are not sure about the answer, then leave the question un-attempted. Marking Scheme: For each correct answer to a question 1 mark will be awarded. However, if the answer is wrong 1/4 mark will be deducted. For example,
P = Number of correct answers.
Q = Number of wrong answers.
Final score will be calculated as P – 1/4 (Q) upto second place of decimal
Important Note: Online examination will be held under the surveillance of the camera and audio recording. When the examination is in progress please don’t talk, toggle or change the screen of Mobile Phone/Desktop/Laptop. Toggling or changing of screen may lead to the cancellation of the test. If at any stage, anything is found suspicious, the test of the particular candidate will be cancelled.
